Spotlight on Toyota: The Vehicle Manufacturer of the 2007 SEMA Show
Specialty-equipment accessories continue to be a burgeoning market for the automakers and their presence grows each year. For 2007, Toyota has claimed Manufacturer of the Show honors. This marks the first time Toyota will serve as the Vehicle Manufacturer of the Show and the company’s Lexus brand will also exhibit. In addition to exhibiting at the SEMA Show, Toyota supports SEMA’s project vehicle program with SEMA members, provides members with hands-on early access to vehicles, and takes part in the association’s OEM roundtable program. Also, Scion, a marque of Toyota Motor Sales, Inc., allows access to confidential technical data through the SEMA Tech Transfer Program.
‘Fueling the Passion for Hot Wheels’
Hot Wheels will present the "Hot Wheels Design Award" at this year's Show, which will be presented to four customized vehicles that embody the essence of the Hot Wheels brand, including speed, power, performance and attitude. Hot Wheels will also present the "Best Custom Car" and "Best Custom Truck" awards, both new to the Show, at the annual New Products Awards Breakfast. During the week-long Show, Hot Wheels will make its mark throughout the Las Vegas Convention Center with life-size Hot Wheels vehicles, various brand artifacts, memorabilia and collectibles, as well as participate in a variety of Show events that celebrate the die-cast brand's 40th anniversary.

The DynoMax Power to the Wheels Dyno Tour, which will conclude at the SEMA Show, features a 35-foot tractor-trailer equipped with sophisticated, hands-on technology simulations and demonstrations to help vehicle owners understand the benefits of performance exhaust upgrades.

The more than 51,000 sq. ft. MotorTrend Proving Ground will host driving demonstrations and provide a venue for buyers and media to test new products under performance conditions. Exhibitors can also demonstrate their products with hands-on driving experiences, including performance driving on an enclosed track.

Overhaulin at SEMA
TLC’s popular show ‘Overhaulin’ featuring auto-designing legend and host, Chip Foose and his team of fabricators and engineers, will invade SEMA to produce a program live from the Show floor.
