Much has changed in the world of personal and special interest group communications since 911.  The established media of print, television and some radio has remained static, incompetent, slanted against common sense and in many areas has continued tarnishing its reputation and further distanced its customers.  To make matters worst, the world has become a more dangerous and frustrating place especially in the Middle East and other selected international locations

The continuing popularity and importance of the Internet, Talk Radio and some Cable and Satellite networks underscore the opportunities to communicate with motivated individuals through innovative approaches. Among new media movement the most interesting are Blogs, You Tube, Facebook and Podcasting.

Changes in technology are producing major changes in media and journalism.  The Web has fostered and encouraged a wide range of individuals to get involved in bringing additional news and perspectives to the local and world stage.  Effective and cost efficient tools such as easy to use web publishing, improved web searching, digital cameras and camcorders are supercharging new adopter interests especially among the young and baby boomer demographics.

In the Southwest, personal high definition video camcorders are on scene rapidly and forced broadcasters to deploy their video crews much quicker. Private video material is frequently acquired and broadcast..  At the world famous Barrett Jackson automobile auction they are using high definition and real time web casts to communicate from the auction floor.

In Los Angeles, local radio programs such as Hugh Hewitt have very successfully incorporated radio, blogging, quick response, political and mil blogs to great advantage.

Notable, among the following mil blogs are recommended such as Military.com, Black Five, Michael Yon, Austin Bay and etc.
